Iraqi Police say a suicide car bomber killed 10 people and wounded at least 25 others today (Sunday) in an attack on a police convoy north of Baghdad.
Authorities said the bomber targeted a convoy of police vehicles as it drove through a market area in the town of Balad Ruz.
A police spokesman said at least one police officer was among the dead.
In Baghdad, there were reports of explosions late Saturday in the vicinity of the Mahdi Army stronghold of Sadr City.
