한편 중국측 수석대표인 우이 부총리는 문제를 해결하기 위해 협력할 것이라며, 그러나 양국간 무역과 경제문제를 정치상황과 연관지어서는 안 될 것이라고 말했습니다.

Negotiators for the United States and China have opened a second round of talks in Washington on a variety of economic issues, including a trade imbalance that concerns the United States.
In an opening address today (Tuesday), the head of the U.S. delegation, U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, said the U.S. welcomes competition from a stable and prosperous China. He said he hopes the two days of talks will speed up the pace of policy reforms.
