아프가니스탄 북부 쿤두즈의 한 시장에서 자살 폭탄 공격이 발생, 독일 군인 3명을 포함한 9명이 숨졌다고 현지 당국이 밝혔습니다.
현지 관리에 따르면 19일 쿤두즈 중심부의 차 시장에서 인파가 들어찬 가운데 자살 테러범이 폭탄을 터뜨렸으며, 이로인해 14명의 부상자도 발생했습니다. 쿠르드시 관리는 독일군인들이 순찰 임무를 마치고 시장에서 물건을 구입하고 있었다고 전했습니다.
탈레반은 자신들이 공격을 주도했다고 주장하고 있씁니다.
이 날 동부 카피사 지역에서는 미군 주도의 연합군의 수십명의 저항세력을 사살했습니다. 연합군 대변인은 저항세력들이 카불 인근 알-안사이 계곡에서 연합군과 아프가니스탄 군에 대한 기습을 가했으며, 연합군이 공습으로 대응했다고 말했습니다.
이와 별도로 파키타 지역에서도 아프가니스탄 군대가 저항세력 70명을 사살했습니다.

Afghan officials say a suicide bomber has killed at least nine people, including three German soldiers, at a crowded market in the northern city of Kunduz.
Authorities say 14 other people were wounded early today (Saturday) when the bomber blew imself up in the city center's tea market (Chai Firoshi Bazaar). Kunduz officials say the Germans, who had been on patrol, were shopping when the attack occurred.
The Taleban claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Also today (Saturday), U.S.-led coalition officials said dozens of militants were killed late Friday in eastern Kapisa province. A coalition spokesman said the militants tried to ambush allied and Afghan forces in the al-Asay valley, near Kabul. He said coalition airstrikes were called in against the insurgents.
In a separate operation, Afghan security officials say nearly 70 insurgents were killed in a joint Afghan and coalition battle in eastern Paktia province.
