팔레스타인의 양대 파벌인 하마스와 파타운동 전투원들이 다시 충돌하지 나흘째를 맞아 16명이 사망했다고 팔레스타인 보안 당국이 밝혔습니다. 이런 가운데 남부 가자지구에서는 이스라엘군이 하마스 거점 지역에 공습을 가해 적어도 4명이 숨졌다고 팔레스타인 당국이 밝혔습니다.
팔레스타인 보안관리들은 하마스 전투원들이 16일 일찍 가자시의 파타운동 간부의 주택을 급습해 파타운동 소속 경비 대원 6명을 살해했다고 말했습니다.
몇시간 뒤 하마스 전투원들은 5명의 하마스 소속 요원들을 체포해 구금시설로 이동시키던 파타운동 소속 경찰들을 기습해 양측간에 교전이 발생해 이 과정에서 하마스 요원 5명이 숨지고 파타운동 경찰 2명이 살해됐습니다.
이날 공격은 양측이 전날 폭력 종식을 위한 3번째 휴전에 합의한 뒤 불과 몇시간 만에 다시 발생했습니다.

Palestinian security officials say 16 people have been killed in a fourth day of factional clashes between Fatah and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Separately, Palestinians say an Israeli air strike on a Hamas position in Gaza killed four people.
Hamas has fired dozens of rockets into Israel since Tuesday.
In the inter-Palestinian clashes, Hamas gunmen killed six Fatah guards when they stormed the home of a top Fatah official in Gaza City.
Hours later, in today's (Wednesday's) deadliest attack, Hamas fighters ambushed Fatah police in a vehicle carrying five Hamas men to a detention center. The five were killed, along with two Fatah members.
The fighting resumed hours after the rival factions announced another truce late Tuesday -- their third in as many days.
