솔라나 대표는 27일, 터키 앙카라에서 이란의 알리 라리자니 핵협상 수석대표와 이틀 일정의 회담을 마치고 브뤼셀로 돌아가 이같이 촉구했습니다.
솔라나 대표는 이보다 앞서26일,이란 수석대표와의 회담에서 기적 같은 일이 성취되지는 않았으며 양측이 이란 핵문제 분쟁 협상을 진전시키려는 노력을 기울였다고 말했습니다.
알리 라리자니 수석대표는이란과 유럽연합이 일치된 견해에 접근하고 있다고 말했습니다.

The European Union foreign policy chief has called on the United States to open a channel of communication with Iran on all issues, including its controversial nuclear program.
Javier Solana made the remark Friday in Brussels following two days of talks with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, in Turkey. The talks were aimed at persuading Iran to end its uranium enrichment program.
Larijani said Thursday his country and the European Union are moving closer to "a united view" on how to break the deadlock over Iran's nuclear program.
Solana also said that although no miracles were achieved, the two sides tried to move the nuclear issue forward.
The United States and its allies accuse Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons. Tehran says its nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes.
