필리페 두스트-블라지 프랑스 외무장관은 14일 이 테이프에는 프랑스 국적의 구호요원 2명과 함께 아프간 출신의 동료 요원 3명의 모습이 담겨있다고 확인했습니다.
두스트-블라지 장관은 자국은 이들을 구조할 결의가 돼있다고 말했습니다. 테이프에는 젊은 프랑스 여성 1명과 자신의 이름이 에릭이라며 자신들을 살려달라고 호소하는 한 남성의 모습이 담겨 있습니다.
이들은 구호기구 ‘우리의 어린이들을 위한 세계’ 소속 요원들로 지난 3일 님로즈주에서 실종됐습니다. 탈레반은 이번 납치사건이 자신들의 소행임을 밝혔습니다.

French authorities say they are analyzing a videotape that shows two French aid workers kidnapped by the Taleban more than a week ago in southwestern Afghanistan.
French Foreign Minister Philipe Douste-Blazy today (Saturday) confirmed that two French nationals appear on the tape along with three Afghan colleagues. The minister says his country is determined to save the members of the group.
The tape shows the two aid workers, a young woman and a man who says his name is Eric, pleading for their lives.
Three blindfolded and shackled Afghan men believed to be colleagues of the French hostages also appear in the video.
The French workers, who belong to a children's aid group (Terre d'Enfance), went missing in Nimroz province on April third. Taleban insurgents have claimed responsibility for the kidnapping.
