이란 언론은 2일 영국의 입장에 ‘긍정적 변화’가 나타나고 있기 때문에 영국 수병들의 자백 모습을 방영하지 않을 것이라고 전했습니다. 앞서 이란 관영 알-알람 텔레비전은 1일 영국 수병 2명이 지도를 가리키면서 15명이 페르시아만에서 이란 영해를 침범했다고 말하고 있는 동영상을 내보냈습니다. 그중 1명은 수병들이 이란 당국으로 부터 좋은 대우를 받고 있다고 말했습니다.
영국 외무부는 자국 수병들의 이같은 동영상이 이란에서 방영되는 것은 ‘용납할 수 없다’고 말했습니다. 영국은 수병들이 지난 달 23일 체포됐을 때 이란이 아니라 이라크 해역에 있었다고 주장하고 있습니다.

Iran says all 15 British sailors and marines in Iranian custody have confessed to illegally entering Iranian waters.
Iranian media said today (Monday) that it would not air the confessions because of what it called a positive change in Britain's stance. The reports did not elaborate.
Sunday, government-run Al-Alam television showed two of the British captives pointing to a map of the Persian Gulf and saying the 15 Britons had intruded into Iranian waters.
One of the men (Captain Chris Air) said the 15 detainees - a group that includes one woman - have been treated well by the Iranians.
Britain's Foreign Office says it is "unacceptable" for the footage to be shown. Britain insists the sailors and marines were in Iraqi waters when they were seized March 23rd.
