A four-hour strike by Rome's air traffic controllers has forced cancellation of about 150 flights at the city's airports and the rescheduling of another 50.
Officials of Italy's Alitalia Airlines say they were forced to cancel 96 flights.
A group of unions called the strike to demand more staff and better logistics for Italy's biggest airport. Alitalia, in a statement, said cancellations involved mostly domestic lights but also include routes to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Lisbon, Paris and Cairo.
