일본 정부는 최근 몇달 동안 북한에 불법적으로 자금과 물자를 보낸 혐의를 받고 있는 조총련 산하 시설들에 대해 압수 수색을 강화했습니다.

North Korea's ambassador to the United Nations has accused Tokyo of what he calls "brutal oppression" of ethnic Koreans in Japan who support Pyongyang.
In a letter to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon (released Wednesday), Ambassador Pak Gil Yon blasted Japan's crackdown on a group of pro-North Korean organizations, known as Chongryon.
Japanese police have stepped up raids in recent months on Chongryon facilities suspected of illegally sending money and goods to North Korea. Chongryon represents tens of thousands of ethnic Koreans living in Japan who are loyal to Pyongyang.
North Korea's Pak says the raids are criminal and have created what he calls a "horrific atmosphere of terror" for ethnic Koreans in Japan.
