인도와 파키스탄은 3년전부터 관계 개선 노력을 기울여왔습니다. 양국은 특히 카시미르 지역 분쟁을 줄이기 위한 평화진전을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 인도 통치하의 카시미르 지역에서는 1989년 이후 반군에 의해 수만명이 목숨을 잃었습니다.

The talks in the Pakistani capital come two weeks after a bomb attack killed at least 66 people on an Indian train traveling from New Delhi to the Pakistan border.
Pakistan's prime minister (Shaukat Aziz) has asked India to provide details of its investigation of the attack during Tuesday's meeting.
Efforts to improve relations between India and Pakistan began three years ago. The peace process is aimed at easing the neighbor countries' ongoing dispute over the divided Kashmir territory. Insurgents in Indian-controlled Kashmir have killed tens of thousands of people since 1989.
