이라크 서부도시 라마디의 한 축구 경기장에서 27일 차량폭탄이 폭발해 10살에서 15 살 사이의 어린이들이 숨졌습니다. 라마디는 수니파 저항세력의 거점지인 알-안바르주의 도시입니다.
이와는 별도로, 북부 모술과 인근지역에서는 자살폭탄 공격이 잇따라 발생해 경찰관 6명을 포함한 10명이 숨졌습니다.
수도 바그다드의 한 시장에서는 자살폭탄 테러범이 자폭한 한편, 한 식당 인근에서는 폭탄이 가득 장착된 차량이 폭발했습니다. 또한 바쁜 점심시간에 누군가 플라스틱 봉지 안에 넣어둔 폭탄이 터졌습니다. 이로 인해 적어도 9명이 숨졌습니다.
한편, 이라크 주둔 미군당국은 도로변 폭탄폭발 사고로 미군 병사 4명이 숨졌다고 말했습니다.

A series of bombings and other attacks across Iraq have killed more than 40 people, including 18 children at a soccer field in the western city of Ramadi.
The victims of the Ramadi bombing were between the ages of 10 to 15. Ramadi is in the Sunni insurgent stronghold of al-Anbar province, and the motive for the attack was not apparent.
In and around Mosul, north of the capital, suicide bomb blasts killed 10 people, including six policemen.
In Baghdad, officials say a suicide bomber struck a market, while an explosives-filled car detonated near a restaurant, and a bomb left in a plastic bag exploded elsewhere in the city. At least nine people were killed.
The U.S. military said roadside bomb blasts have killed four American soldiers.
