일본의 4번째 정찰위성이 악천후로 여러 번 연기된 끝에 24일 발사됐습니다. 정찰기를 탑재한 H-2A 로켓트는 일본 남부 다네가시마현에서 발사됐습니다.
H2A정찰위성은 당초 이달초 발사될 예정이었습니다.
일본 정부는 정찰위성이 일단 궤도에 진입하면 하루 1회 지구 어느쪽이나 감시가 가능하게 될 것이라고 말하고 있습니다.
일본은 지난 2003년 처음으로 정찰 위성을 발사했고 1차적인 이유는 북한의 탄도미사일 능력에 대한 우려때문이었습니다.
북한은 1998년 일본열도를 넘어가는 미사일을 발사했고 지난해에는 핵실험을 단행했습니다.

Japan has launched its fourth spy satellite after several delays due to poor weather.
An H-2A rocket carrying the satellite lifted off today (Saturday) from Japan's southern island of Tanegashima. It was originally scheduled for launch earlier this month.
Japan says that once the satellite is in orbit, it will be able to monitor any point on Earth once a day.
Japan launched its first spy satellite in 2003, primarily due to concerns over North Korea's ballistic missile capabilities. North Korea launched a missile that flew over Japan's main island in 1998 and tested an atomic bomb last year. North Korea recently pledged to take steps to end its nuclear program.
