알-사드르의 보좌관들은 알-사드르가 이라크에 있다면서 다만 알-사드르가 보안상 이유 때문에 공개적으로 모습을 나타내는 것을 줄이고 있을 뿐이라고 주장하고 있습니다.

Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki says the new Baghdad security plan has officially begun.
Mr. Maliki's announcement was made today (Wednesday), a day after an Iraqi general said the country's borders with Iran and Syria will be sealed for 72 hours as part of the crackdown.
Meanwhile, the U.S. military is standing by its assertion that radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has fled to Iran.
The U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, Major General William Caldwell, told reporters today that all indications are that Sadr is in Iran.
Aides to the radical cleric insist that the Shi'ite leader is in Iraq but has reduced public appearances for security reasons.
