파키스탄 북서부 아프가니스탄 국경 인근에서 발생한 자살폭탄공격으로 5명이 숨졌습니다.
파키스탄군 샤우카트 술탄 대변인에 따르면 22일 파키스탄 북부 와지리스탄 부족 지역의 한 검문소에서 정부 호위 차량에 폭탄을 실은 차량이 추돌해서 군인 4명과 민간인 여성 1명을 포함한 5명이 숨지고 부상자도 발생했습니다.
테러 소행자는 아직 나타나지 않고 있습니다.
한편 이 날 공격으로 파키스탄이 지난해 9월 친탈레반 무장세력과 맺은 평화협정이 무산될 수 있다는 우려가 제기되고 있습니다.
평화협정에 따라 파키스탄 정부는 부족들이 거주하는 지역에서 정부군을 철수하기로 했고, 대신에 부족 지도자들은 테러 공격이 없도록 하겠다고 약속했었습니다.
양측의 평화협정 이후 이 지역 치안상태는 크게 호전됐었습니다.
하지만 파키스탄 정부가 지난주에 와지리스탄 남부 알-카에다 훈련시설을 공습한 후 양측간의 긴장이 고조돼 왔습니다.

A suicide attack has killed at least five people in northwestern Pakistan, near the Afghan border.
Military spokesman Shaukat Sultan says a bomb-laden car slammed into a government convoy at a checkpoint near Mirin Shah today (Monday) in Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal area. Four Pakistani soldiers and a female civilian were killed and several other people were wounded.
No one has claimed responsibility.
The attack has raised fears that a peace deal Pakistan signed with pro-Taleban militants last September is crumbling.
Under the pact, Islamabad agreed to remove its troops from tribal areas, and tribal chiefs said they would prevent terrorist attacks.
Security in the region had improved significantly following the agreement.
But tensions flared last week after a Pakistani air strike destroyed a suspected al-Qaida camp in nearby South Waziristan.
