하미드 카르자이 아프가니스탄 대통령은 아프가니스탄내에서 전투를 벌이는 탈레반 저항분자들을 ‘ 특정 파키스탄 집단’들이 보호하고 있다고 지적했습니다.
카르자이 대통령은 21일 아프가니스탄 의회 개원 연설을 통해 독립 아프가니스탄의 적들이 계속해서 아프가니스탄 국내문제에 개입하고 있다면서 이같이 지적했습니다.
카르자이 대통령은 또 아프가니스탄의 폭력사태에는 정부의 부패가 기여하고 있다고 지적하고 탈레반 저항분자들에 대항하는 국가적 단결을 촉구했습니다.
아프가니스탄 정부는 저항분자 지도자들이 국경안팎에 걸쳐 은신처를 갖고 있다고 지적하고 있으나 파키스탄 당국은 저항분자들의 고위급 지도자들이 대부분 아프가니스탄내에 있다고 주장하고 있습니다.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai says "certain Pakistani circles" are protecting Taleban insurgents fighting in Afghanistan, and that drugs and corruption in his government are contributing to the violence.
At the opening of Afghanistan's parliament today (Sunday), Mr. Karzai said the enemies of Afghan independence are continuing their interference in the country's internal affairs.
The Afghan leader called on the nation to unite against the Taleban insurgency.
Kabul says insurgent leaders have safe havens across the border.
Islamabad says most of the top terrorists are in Afghanistan.
