중국 산둥성 린이시 중급법원은 12일 천광청 씨에게 원심대로 4년3개월간의 징역형을 확정했습니다. 천 씨는 두 번의 재판과 두 번의 항소심을 거쳤습니다.
천 씨의 지지자들은 그가 지방 주민들의 인권 옹호를 위해 일했다고 말합니다. 그는 중국 정부의 ‘한 자녀 같기’ 산아제한 목표 달성을 위해 지방 공무원들이 여성에게 낙태나 불임을 강요한 사례들을 고발했습니다.국제 인권 단체들은 중국 정부가 천 씨의 활동을 막기위해 혐의를 조작했다고 주장하고 있습니다.

A Chinese court has upheld a prison sentence for a blind, self-taught law expert convicted of "organizing a mob to disturb traffic and damage property."
The Intermediate Court in Shandong province's Linyi city issued the ruling today (Friday), supporting the conviction and a four-year, three month prison term for Chen Guangcheng. Chen has been through two trials and two appeals.
Chen's supporters say, in his work advising rural villagers, he documented cases of late-term abortions and sterilizations forced on women by officials trying to uphold China's one-child policy.
International rights groups say Chinese authorities fabricated the charges against Chen to try to silence him.
