태국 수도 방콕에서 사람들이 새해 축하 행사를 준비하고 있는 가운데 적어도 6발의 폭탄이 폭발했다고, 태국 경찰이 밝혔습니다.
경찰은 도심의 전승기념탐 부근에서 일어난 한 폭발로 2명이 사망했다고 밝혔습니다.
다른 폭발들은 교차로들과 상가 근처에서 발생했습니다. 아직 이번 폭탄공격의 동기는 알려지지 않고 있습니다.

Police in Thailand say at least six bombs have exploded in the capital, Bangkok, as people were preparing for New Years celebrations. Authorities say two people were killed and 12 wounded.
Police say the two deaths occurred from a bomb that exploded in the city center, near the Victory Monument. Other explosions occurred near intersections and shopping centers.
The motive for the bombings is not immediately clear.
