워싱턴 백악관 대변인은 이 회의를 문명세계와 이란의 전통적인 관용에 맞서려는 것이라고 비판했습니다.
로마 가톨릭교 교황청 바티칸 당국은 아무도 무관심할 수 없는 극단적인 비극이라고 말했습니다. 영국의 토니 블레어 총리는 테헤란 회의를 믿기 어려운 충격적인 것이라고 지칭했습니다.
유럽연합 프랑코 프라티니 대법관은 테헤란 회의를 홀로코스트를 부인하고 경시하려는 기도라고 비판했습니다.
이란의 마누체르 모타키 외무장관은 홀로코스 부인,수정회의 개막일에 이 회의는 홀로코스틀 확인하거나 부인하는데 목적을 둔 것이 아니라 그에 관한 논쟁의 기회라고 말했습니다.
