인도네시아의 수실로 밤방 유드호요노 대통령은 1일, 러시아와의 군사무기 판매에 관한 협력이 인도네시아의 최우선 정책과제라고 밝혔습니다.
유드호요노 대통령은 이날 크레믈린궁에서 러시아의 블라디미르 푸틴 대통령과 회담을 갖고, 두 나라간의 군사, 경제, 에너지 유대관계 강화에 관해 논의했습니다.
유드호요노 대통령은 군사기술면에서 두 나라간의 협력이 테러와 국제범죄와의 싸움에서 중요하다고 말했습니다.
푸틴 대통령도 이같은 의사를 표명하고, 두 나라간의 경제협력을 치하했습니다. 푸틴 대통령은 러시아와 인도네시아가 연간 무역량을 10억달러까지 끌어올려야 할 것이라고 말했습니다.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono says cooperation with Russia on military arms sales is a top priority for his country.
President Yudhoyono met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, at the Kremlin today (Friday), to discuss military, economic and energy ties between the two nations. The Indonesian leader said cooperation in the military technology sector is important for combating terrorism and international crime.
Mr. Putin echoed those sentiments and also praised economic cooperation between the two countries. He said Russia and Indonesia should raise their trade to one billion dollars a year.
The two also are expected to discuss interaction in the fields of power generation, energy security and space exploration.
