영국의 BBC 방송은 자사 기자 한명이 파키스탄에서 실종됐다고 밝혔습니다. BBC 방송은 20일 딜라와르 와지르 칸 (Dilawar Wazir Khan) 기자가 파키스탄 북서부에 있는 자택으로 귀가하기 위해서 이슬라마바드를 출발한 이후 연락이 끊겼다고 전했습니다.
칸 기자의 가족은 칸 기자의 휴대폰으로 전화했을때, 자칭 쟘셰드라는 이름의 의사가 대답해 칸 기자가 도로변 사고로 부상을 당했으니 이슬라마바드의 한 병원으로 가라고 말한것으로 전했습니다. 그러나 BBC 방송의 다른 기자는 칸 기자나 쟘셰드라는 이름의 의사를 찾지 못했습니다.
지난 8월에는 칸기자의 15세된 남동생이 납치당해 살해당했으나 아직까지 범인은 잡히지 않고 있습니다.

The British Broadcasting Corporation is reporting one of its journalists is missing in Pakistan.
The BBC said today (Monday) it has not heard from Dilawar Wazir Khan since he left Islamabad for his home (Dera Ismail Khan) in northwest Pakistan.
Khan's family said a telephone call to his cell phone was answered by a man who called himself Doctor Jamshed, who said Khan had been injured in a road accident. The person told them to go to an Islamabad hospital go see him.
A BBC reporter was unable to locate Khan or a Doctor Jamshed.
The BBC reported that Khan's 15-year-old brother was kidnapped and killed near the northwest town of Wana. Officials said it was not clear who carried out the August attack or why.
