에밀리오 모레나티씨는 24일 오전, 아파트 건물에서 나와 AP 소속 차량을 타려다 납치됐습니다.
차량 운전수는 복면을 한 네명의 무장 괴한들이, 모레타니씨를 끌고 하얀 색 복스바겐 차에 강제로 태운후 도주했다고 말했습니다.
현재까지 납치를 자행했다고 주장하는 측은 나오지 않고 있습니다.
최근 몇 달간 가자지구에서는 여러 외국 언론인들과 인도적 구호 요원들이 납치됐습니다.

Palestinian gunmen in Gaza have kidnapped a Spanish photographer working for the Associated Press.
Emilio Morenatti was abducted early this (Tuesday) morning in Gaza City as he left an apartment building to get into an A.P. car.
The driver of the car says four masked gunmen restrained him and shoved Morenatti into a white Volkswagen and drove away. No one has claimed responsibility.
A spokesman for the Hamas-led Palestinian government (Ghazi Hamad) condemned Morenatti's kidnapping and demanded his immediate release. He said the act violates Palestinian national interests.
The office of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas issued a similar condemnation and said Palestinian security forces are searching for the photographer.
