존 볼튼 유엔주재 미국대사는 12일중 북한이 핵무기 계획을 중단할 것을 촉구하는 내용의 결의안 초안을 유엔 안보리에 공식 제출할 예정입니다.
이 결의안은 엄격한 무기금수 조치와 금융 제재조치, 사치품 금수조치 등을 포함하고있습니다.
미국은 유엔 안보리가 이번 주말까지 이 결의안을 승인하길 희망하고있습니다.

China is urging the U.N. Security Council to send North Korea a clear message that its reported nuclear test was wrong, but Beijing is still not supporting harsh sanctions against the regime.
A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman (Liu Jianchao) said today (Thursday) the sanctions should encourage a peaceful resolution of the North Korean standoff.
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (John Bolton) is to formally introduce a draft resolution to the Security Council later today (Thursday), demanding that Pyongyang eliminate its nuclear weapons program.
The draft also imposes a strict arms embargo, financial sanctions and a ban on the import of luxury goods. The U.S. wants the Council to approve the resolution by the end of this week.
Japan has already approved tough new sanctions against Pyongyang following its Monday announcement that it conducted a nuclear test.
A North Korean official (Song Il Ho, North Korea's ambassador in charge of normalizing relations with Tokyo) told Japan's Kyodo news agency that Pyongyang will take "strong counter-measures" against Japan if it imposes new sanctions.
