그루지아 법원이 이번주에 체포한 4명의 러시아 장교들에게 첩보 혐의를 적용 두 달의 구금형을 선고했습니다.
법원은 또한 첩보 혐의와 연루된 적어도 7명 이상의 그루지아 시민에 대한 구금기간을 연장하라고 판결했습니다. 그루지아 당국은 기소없이 1명의 러시아 장교를 석방했으나 트비리시의 러시아군 본부에 숨어있는것으로 추정되는 또 한명의 군인을 넘기라고 러시아측에 요구하고 있습니다.
러시아의 세르게이 이바노프 국방장관은 간첩 활동 혐의를 부인하며 러시아 장교들은 불과 석달 전에 그루지아에 갔다고 말했습니다.
그러나 그루지아의 이라키 오루카슈비리 국방장관은 러시아가 그루지아를 하나의 독립국가로 인식하지 않고 있다며 비난했습니다.
러시아 정부는 그루지아주재 대사를 본국으로 소환조치 했으며 트비리시의 대사관 직원들과 가족들 역시 대사관에서 철수하고 있습니다.

A Georgian court has ordered four Russian military officers detained this week on espionage charges held in custody for another two months.
The court also extended the detention of at least seven Georgian citizens accused of a role in the case. Georgian authorities released a fifth Russian serviceman without charges, but are demanding the surrender of another officer believed hiding in Russia's military headquarters in Tbilisi.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has denied the charges, saying the officers had arrived in Georgia only three months ago.
His Georgian counterpart, Irakli Orukashvili, accused the Russians of failing to realize that they are dealing with an independent country.
Moscow has recalled its ambassador from Georgia, and began evacuating embassy personnel and their families from Tbilisi.
Georgia's interior minister (Vano Merabishvili) also accused Russia of seeking to pressure his country by scheduling naval maneuvers off its coast.
