인도네시아 보건 부는 9살짜리 남자 아이 한명이 조류 독감 으로 사망했다고 밝혔습니다.
세계 보건 기구에 의해 이 소년의 사망이 조류독감에 의한 것으로 확인되면, 이는 인도네시아에서 조류 독감 바이러스에 의해 사망한 51번째 희생자가 됩니다.
인도네시아는 올해초 조류 독감에 의한 사망자 수가 가장 많이 발생한 나라로 베트남을 앞지르고 있습니다.
2천 3년말 조류 독감이 처음 발병한 이래 주로 아시아 지역에서 140여명이 목숨을 잃었습니다.
보건 전문가들은 조류 독감 바이러스가 인간대 인간의 접촉에 의해 쉽게 감염되는 형태로 전이될 것을 우려하고 있습니다.

The Indonesian health ministry says a nine-year old boy has died of bird flu.
If confirmed by the World Health Organization, his death would bring to 51 to number of people who have died from the virus in the country.
Indonesia surpassed Vietnam earlier this year as having the highest human bird flu death toll.
More than 140 people have died from bird flu since the outbreak began in late 2003, mostly in Asian countries.
Health experts fear that the virus may mutate into a form that can easily be transmitted by human-to-human contact.
