China's state-run Xinhua news agency unveiled 22 new regulations Sunday that would impose limits on foreign news agencies' distribution of their stories within China.
Xinhua says the rules are intended to prevent news reporting that could endanger national security or undermine social stability. The Chinese agency says it will delete any material it finds opbjectionable.
