카 스트로 대통령은, 비록 19킬로그램 정도 체중이 줄긴 했지만 지난달 했던 장염수술로부터 만족할 만한 수준으로 회복중이라고 말했습니다.
카스트로 대통령은 또 마지막 실밥이 제거됐다면서 다음주 쿠바에서 열리는 비동맹 운동 회의에 참석할 외국의 귀빈들을 영접할 수 있을 것이라고 말했습니다.

Cuban President Fidel Castro says the worst part of his health crisis is over.
The government newspaper, Granma, published a statement from Mr. Castro on its Web site today (Tuesday), featuring photos of the 80-year-old president reading in a rocking chair.
The Cuban leader said he is recovering from last month's intestinal surgery at a satisfactory pace, despite losing almost 19 kilograms. He said the last of his stitches had been removed and that he would be receiving foreign dignitaries, referring to political figures who will attend the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Cuba next week.
Mr. Castro temporarily handed power to his brother, Raul, last month to undergo surgery. The handover shocked Cuba and the world, sparking speculation that the long-time leader was facing his last days in office.
The president seized control of Cuba in a 1959 revolution.
