아프가니스탄 남부에서 저항분자들이 영국병사 한 명을 살해했습니다.
영국 국방부는 나토군 소속의 영국 병사가 27일 헬만드주 북부지역에서 저항세력과 교전을 벌이던중 사망했다고 말했습니다.
이와는 별도로 칸다하르주의 나토군 기지에 저항세력이 발사한 것으로 보이는 박격포탄이 떨어져 나토군 병사 한 명과 아프간 병사 6명이 다쳤습니다.
동부 자불주에서는 탈레반으로 보이는 무장분자들이 죄수들을 칸다하르에서 수도 카불로 이송중이던 한 버스를 습격해 간수 한 명을 살해했습니다. 이 과정에서 일부 수감자들이 탈출했으나 곧 모두 체포됐습니다.
한편 미군은 지난 24일 쿠다르주에서 미군의 공격으로 8명이 사망한 것과 관련해 테러조직 알 카에다를 지원하는 인물을 표적으로 작전을 전개한 것이며 그는 미군의 공격을 받고 사망했다고 말했습니다.

Insurgents have killed a British soldier in southern Afghanistan.
Britain's Ministry of Defense says the soldier died today (Sunday) during contact with insurgent forces in the northern part of Helmand province.
Separately, another NATO soldier and six Afghan troops were wounded when mortars hit their base in neighboring Kandahar province.
In eastern Zabul province, suspected Taleban ambushed a bus transferring 30 prisoners from Kandahar to the capital, Kabul. They killed a prison guard. Some of the prisoners escaped during the attack but were quickly re-captured.
Meanwhile, the U.S. military says a U.S.-led attack that left eight people dead in eastern Kunar province last Thursday targeted an al-Qaida facilitator who was killed in the operation.
