요르단을 방문해 이라크 지도자들과 가족들을 만나고 돌아온 미국의 반전 운동가 신디 쉬한씨가 부쉬 대통령을 만나길 희망한다고 말했습니다.
쉬한씨는 6일 부쉬 대통령이 휴가를 보내고 있는 텍사스 크로포드 목장 근처에서 시위를 재개하고 부쉬 대통령과의 면담을 요구할 것이라고 기자들에게 말했습니다.
쉬한 씨는 이라크에 파병됐던 아들이 사망한 뒤 받은 보험금으로 최근 크로포드에 2헥타아르 정도의 토지를 매입했으며 이 곳이 시위자들의 모임 장소로 사용될 것이라고 말했습니다.

U.S. anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has returned from a trip to Jordan, where she met with Iraqi leaders and families, and says she now hopes to meet with President Bush.
Sheehan told reporters she will resume protests today (Sunday) near President Bush's home in Crawford, Texas and will again request to meet with him.
Sheehan recently bought an two-hectare plot in Crawford with insurance money she received after her son Casey was killed in Iraq. She says it will be used as a gathering place for demonstrators.
