존 하워드 호주 총리는 급진 회교 성직자 아부 무사부 알 자르카위가 최근 인도네시아 교도소에서 출소된 것과 관련해 인도네시아 정부에 유감을 표명할 것이라고 말했습니다.
하워드 총리는 18일, 수실로 밤방 유도요노 인도네시아 대통령에게 전화를 걸어 앞으로 있을 회담에서 호주가 당한 모욕에 대해 이야기 할 것이라고 말했습니다. 두 정상은 이달말 인도네시아에서 회담을 가질 예정입니다.
인도네시아 법원은 바쉬르가 2천 2년 발리섬 폭탄 공격을 음모한 혐의로 근 26개월 복역한데 이어 지난 14일 바쉬르를 석방했습니다 당시 공격으로 호주인 88명을 포함해 모두 202명이 사망했습니다.
바쉬르는 자마 이슬라미야 회교 급진 단체의 영적 지도자로 알려져 왔으며, 알 카에다와 연계된 것으로 보이는 발리섬 폭탄 공격을 계획한 것으로 비난받아 왔습니다. 바쉬르는 공격에 개입하지 않았다며 이를 부인해 왔습니다.

Australian Prime Minister John Howard says he will share with Indonesia his country's anger about the release of radical Islamic cleric Abu Bakar Bashir from an Indonesian prison.
Mr. Howard today (Sunday) said he will personally tell Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at their upcoming meeting about the Australian community's outrage. The two leaders meet in Indonesia later this month.
Indonesian courts released Bashir from prison Wednesday after he served nearly 26 months in prison for conspiracy in the 2002 Bali bombing attacks. The blasts killed 202 people, including 88 Australians.
Bashir is the alleged spiritual chief of the militant Islamic group Jemaah Islamiyah, which is blamed for the bombings and is believed to have ties to al-Qaida.
Bashir has denied involvement in the Bali bombings.
