이라크에서 4일 정치 지도자들이 국방부와 내무 장관 지명에 관해 또다시 합의를 이루지 못한 가운데 저항분자들은 적어도 36명을 살해했습니다.
경찰은 한 공격에서 저항분자들이 바그다드 북쪽 임시 검문소에서 버스에 타고 있던 대부분 고등학생들인 21명을 끌어내려 살해했다고 전했습니다.
이 공격에서 부상한 한 남자는 VOA에게 이들 무장 분자들이 버스 승객들에게 수니 아랍계인지 시아파인지, 쿠르드족이나 터키인지의 여부를 묻고 수니파인 4명은 살려주었다고 전했습니다.
또한 이라크 내무부는 바그다드 사드르 시 부근 한 전화 회사 직원 4명이 저항 분자들의 총격을 받고 사망했다고 말했습니다. 남부 바스라에서 경찰은 수니파 회교 사원에서 발생한 충돌로 적어도 11명이 사망했다고 전했습니다.
한편 이라크 의회 각 정당 지도자들은 내무, 국방, 두 각료직 후보 인선에 관해 논의할 예정이던 회의를 또 다시 무기한 연기했습니다. 이라크의 누리 알-말리키 총리는 이들 두 장관 지명자 를 발표할 것으로 예상됐었습니다.
그러나 칼리드 알-티야 국회 부의장은 4일 후보 인선을 둘러싸고 파벌 지도자들간 이견이 계속되고 있다고 전했습니다.

Iraqi police say insurgents killed at least 36 people today (Sunday) as political leaders again failed to agree on leaders for the country's army and police.
Police say that in one attack, gunmen killed 21 people, mostly students, after dragging them off buses at a makeshift checkpoint north of Baghdad. A man wounded in the attack told VOA (Kurdish Service) from Sulaimaniya hospital the gunmen asked the bus passengers whether they were Sunni Arab, Shi'ite, Kurdish or Turkmen. He says four Sunnis were spared.
Elsewhere, Iraq's Interior Ministry says gunmen shot dead four employees of a telephone company near Baghdad's Sadr City.
And in the southern city of Basra, police say at least 11 people were killed in a clash at a Sunni mosque.
Meanwhile, Iraq's political leaders postponed indefinitely a parliament session intended to consider choices for two key security posts. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki had been expected to announce the names of candidates for the defense and interior ministers.
But deputy speaker Khaled al-Attiya said Sunday there continues to be disagreement about the candidates.
