미국이 이란에 대해 잘못된 움직임을 취할 경우 중동지역의 원유공급이 위태롭게 될 것이라고 이란 최고 지도자 아야톨라 알리 하메네이가 경고했습니다.
알리 하메네이는 4일, 이란 이슬람 혁명의 초대 지도자 고 아야톨라 루홀라 호메네이 추도일을 맞아 국영 라디오 방송을 통한 연설에서 이같이 경고했습니다.
알리 하메네이는 원유공급이 어떻게 위태롭게 될른지는 구체적으로 밝히지 않았습니다.
그러나 콘돌리사 라이스 미 국무장관은 국제사회가 이란에 대한 위협에 역점을 두지는 않을 것이라고 밝히고 석유수출에 의존하는 이란으로선 중동지역의 원유공급 차질은 이란에게 중대한 문제가 될 것이라고 지적했습니다.
이보다 앞서 3일, 마흐무드 아흐마디네자디 이란 대통령은 이란의 우라늄 농축활동을 중단하는 것과 관련한 서방측의 일괄 보상책을 이란 당국이 검토할 것이라고 말했습니다.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says oil flows in the region will be endangered if the United States makes what he calls a "wrong move" towards the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian spiritual leader issued the warning today (Sunday) in a speech (broadcast live on state radio) marking the anniversary of the death of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic.
He did not specify how oil supplies would be disrupted.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says the international community should not place much emphasis on the threat. Rice says Iran depends on oil revenues and a disruption in oil supply would be a serious problem for Iran.
On Saturday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tehran would consider an incentive package meant to stop its uranium enrichment program.
