러시아 통신들은, 무장 괴한들이 3일 러시아 대사관에서 얼마 떨어지지 않은 바그다드내 만수르 주거 지역에서 이들 러시아인을 공격했다는 이라크 내무부의 앞서 발표를 대사관 당국자가 이같이 확인했다고 인용 보도했습니다.
한편, 이라크 당국은 바쿠바시내의 경찰 검문소가 공격을 받아, 적어도 7명의 경찰관이 살해되고 4명이 부상했다고 밝혔습니다.
그밖에 바그다드에서 고문과 총상의 흔적이 있는 적어도 4구의 시체가 발견됐 다고 경찰이 말했습니다. 이같은 최신 폭력 사태는, 누리 알 말리키 이라크 총리가 국방 장관과 내무 장관 내정자의 명단을 4일 국회에 통보할 준비를 하고있는 가운데 벌어졌습니다.

Russian news agencies quote an embassy official in Baghdad as confirming the attack.
Iraq's interior ministry says gunmen attacked the Russians today (Saturday) in Baghdad's Mansour neighborhood, not far from the Russian embassy.
Separately, Iraqi authorities say at least seven policemen were killed and four others wounded in an attack at a police checkpoint in the city of Baquba.
Elsewhere, police say at least four bodies were found across Baghdad with signs of torture and bullet wounds.
The latest violence comes as Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki prepares to announce the names of candidates for the defense and interior ministers to parliament on Sunday.
