자르카위는 인터넷에 올린 4 시간 가량의 육성 메시지를 통해 시아파를 뱀이라고 칭하고 시아파 성직자인 아야톨라 알리 알 시스타니를 무신론자라고 말했습니다. 그는 또 수니파에게 교파주의를 종식하자는 시아파의 주장을 무시하라고 말했습니다.

한편 이라크 바그다드에서는 일련의 연쇄 폭탄 공격으로 최소한 7명이 숨지고 61명이 부상했다고 이라크 경찰이 밝혔습니다.
이라크 경찰은 바그다드의 역사적인 시장가운데 하나인 카질에서 연쇄 폭발이 발생해 5명이 사망하고 57명이 부상했다고 말했습니다.

The leader of al-Qaida in Iraq is urging fellow Sunnis to reject calls for reconciliation with Shi'ites in an audiotape message posted on the Internet.
In the four-hour message (posted overnight), Abu Musab al-Zarqawi called Shi'ites "snakes" and Shi'ite cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani an atheist. He also told Sunnis to ignore calls to end sectarianism.
The authenticity of the tape has not been confirmed. Zarqawi's last Internet message was posted in April.
In other developments, Iraqi police say at least seven people have been killed and 61 wounded in separate bomb explosions in Baghdad.
Police say five people died and 57 were wounded today (Friday) in back-to-back explosions in one of the capital's historic markets (Ghazil).
