아랍연맹 회원국 외무장관들이 중국 베이징에서 이틀 일정의 회의에 참석하고 있는 가운데 후진타오 중국 국가주석은 중국과 아랍 간 긴밀한 유대관계를 강조했습니다.
후 주석은 30일 중국-아랍 협력포럼 개막식에서 중국은 이미 우호적인 아랍국가들과의 관계를 더욱 긴밀히 하고 싶다고 말했습니다. 아랍 외무장관들과 중국 정부 관리들은 이번 회의에서 에너지와 외교, 핵 문제 등을 논의할 예정입니다.
이번 회의에는 이스라엘이 중국 정부에 이의를 제기했음에도 불구하고 하마스가 주도하는 팔레스타인자치정부 외무장관이 참가했습니다.

Chinese President Hu Jintao is calling for closer Sino-Arab ties, as foreign ministers from Arab League countries attend a two-day conference in Beijing.
Mr. Hu told delegates at today's (Wednesday's) opening of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum that China wants to increase already friendly relations with Arab governments.
The Arab ministers and Chinese officials are expected to discuss energy, diplomatic and nuclear issues.
The foreign minister of the Hamas-led Palestinian government (Mahmoud Zahar) is attending the forum, despite protests to China from Israel.
