이에 따라, 상하이 외환 시장에서는 15일 위안화가 지난 해의 평가 절상이래 최고 가치로 거래되기 시작했습니다.
중국 중앙 은행인 인민 은행이 달라화와의 공식 목표 환율을 7.9982로 책정한 뒤 외환 시장에서 개장 초 위안화는 1달라대 7.9976 위안으로 거래됐습니다. 지난 12일의 위안화의 환율은 8.0082였습니다.

China has adjusted its currency's value for the first time below an exchange rate of eight yuan to the U.S. dollar.
Trading in Shanghai began today (Monday) with the yuan at its highest level since last year's revaluation of the currency.
(Trading opened at seven-point-nine-nine-seven-six [7.9976] yuan to the dollar, after the People's Bank of China set the official dollar-yuan target rate at 7.9982. Friday's rate was 8.0082.)
Beijing scrapped the yuan's 11-year peg to the dollar 10 months ago (linking it instead to several foreign currencies), and allowed the currency to rise by two percent. The yuan has appreciated slowly since then, but U.S. Treasury officials have complained about the pace of China's reforms.
A U.S. government report last week stopped stopping short of labeling China a currency manipulator, but critics of China's foreign-exchange policies say the yuan is undervalued by 20 to 40 percent.
