이라크의 수니파 출신 신임 부통령의 여동생이 무장 괴한에게 살해됐다고 경찰이 밝혔습니다. 타레크 알 하세미 부통령의 여동생, 메이순 하세미씨는 27일 아침 바그다드에서 자신의 승용차를 타고가다 무장 괴한들의 기습 총격을 받아 운전 기사와 함께 살해됐습니다.
하세미 부통령의 형제들중 한명도 이달 바그다드에서 비슷한 기습 공격을 받아 살해된바있습니다. 타레크 알 하세미 부통령은 지난 22일 의회에서 두명의 부통령중 한명으로 선출됐으며, 수니파의 주류 정치 세력에서 최대의 정당인 이라크 이슬람 당을 이끌고 있습니다.
이번 사건은 이라크의 시아파와 수니파, 쿠르드족 정치인들이 시아파 총리 지명자, 자와드 알 말리키씨가 이끄는 새 정부를 구성하기위해 노력하고 있는 것과 때를 같이해서 벌어 졌습니다.
말리키 총리지명자는 27일 나자프에서 시아파 최고 성직자인 그랜드 아야톨라 알리 알 시스타니를 만나 보안 문제를 논의했습니다.
한편, 이라크 남부도시 나시리야에서 연합군인 세명의 이탈리아 군인과 한명의 루마니아 군인이 도로변 폭탄 폭발로 폭사했습니다.

In Iraq, gunmen have killed a sister of the country's new Sunni Arab vice president, while a bombing elsewhere claimed the lives of four European soldiers.
Police say Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi's sister Meysoun was gunned down in southwestern Baghdad today (Thursday). Hashemi's brother Mahmud was killed in an ambush in the capital earlier this month.
Separately, three Italian soldiers and one from Romania were killed in a roadside bombing in the southern city of Nasiriyah.
Tareq al-Hashemi, chosen by parliament as one of Iraq's two vice presidents on Saturday, heads the Iraqi Islamic Party, the largest party in the main Sunni political bloc.
The violence comes as Iraq's Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish politicians work to form a new government led by Shi'ite Prime Minister-designate Jawad al-Maliki.
In Najaf today, Mr. Maliki discussed security issues in a meeting with top Shi'ite cleric, Grand Ayatollah Alial-Sistani, in Najaf. Mr. Maliki said he is determined to form a government that will be able to disarm the militants in Iraq.
