중국의 후진타오 국가주석은 중국은 중동의 안정을 돕기 위해 사우디 아라비아 및 다른 아랍 국가들과 협력할 용의가 있다고 말했습니다.
후 주석은 23일 사우디 수도 리야드에서 국가 자문위원회를 상대로 한 연설에서 그같이 말했습니다.
사흘간의 방문 일정으로 지난 22일 사우디에 도착한 후 주석은 23일 사우디 석유회사인 아람코를 방문할 예정입니다.
이보다 앞서 양국은 지난 22일 후 주석과 사우디의 압둘라 국왕이 참석한 가운데 국방과 안보, 무역에 관한 협정 체결을 했습니다.

Chinese President Hu Jintao says his country is ready to work with Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations to help bring stability to the Middle East.
Mr. Hu made the comments during a speech to Saudi Arabia's Consultative Council in Riyadh.
The Chinese leader, who arrived Saturday for a three-day trip, is to visit the Saudi oil company Aramco later today (Sunday).
On Saturday, Mr. Hu and Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah oversaw the signing of agreements on defense, security and trade.
