Police in Iraq say at least four people have been killed in a car bomb attack near a Shi'ite mosque in a town south of Baghdad.
Authorities say the attack occurred today (Saturday) in the mostly Shi'ite town of Musayyib. It was not immediately clear if the victims were worshippers leaving the mosque or passers-by.
The latest sectarian violence comes a day after suicide bombers killed at least 79 worshippers at a Shi'ite mosque in the capital.
U.S. officials are calling for all factions in Iraq to exercise restraint after Friday's bombings.
State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the attack was the work of people trying to divide Iraq and encourage sectarian violence.
