한국의 노무현 대통령의 나이지리아 방문 첫날인 9일, 한국과 나이지리아는 여러 건의 에너지 분야의 합의들을 승인했습니다.
노무현 대통령과 나이지리아의 올루세군 오바산조 대통령은 에너지 자원 협력 약정에 서명했습니다. 아프리카를 순방중인 노 대통령은 3일 동안 나이지리아에 머물 계획입니다. 이보다 앞서 이집트를 방문했던 노 대통령은 나이지리아에 이어 알제리를 방문할 예정입니다.

South Korea and Nigeria have approved several energy agreements on the first day of President Roh Moo-hyun's visit to the West African nation. Mr. Roh and his Nigerian counterpart Olusegun Obasanjo signed an energy cooperation agreement Thursday.
The agreement was quickly followed by another deal between Nigeria's state oil company and the Korean National Oil Company to explore several of Nigeria's oil fields. Mr. Obasanjo said the deals were the start of a "real strategic relationship" between the countries.
Mr. Roh praised them as a "very productive beginning." Mr. Roh will spend three days in Nigeria. His African tour has already brought him to Egypt and will take him to next to Algeria.
