The legendary American investor Warren Buffet says he has chosen a successor to lead his famous company Berkshire Hathaway, but he is not revealing the person's identity.
There has long been speculation on who would succeed Buffet after he retires from the holding company he has led for 41 years.
The chief executive says in a recent letter to share-holders that a successor has been named, but he revealed only that three Berkshire executives were considered for the job and one was unanimously chosen by the company's board.
Warren Buffett is estimated to be the second-richest person in the United States, behind Microsoft chief Bill Gates.
