이란은 미국과 그 우방국들이 공격을 가할 경우 보복할 준비가 돼 있다고 자살테러범을 훈련시키는 이란의 한 이슬람 단체가 밝혔습니다.
이 단체 대변인은 18일 테헤란에서 열린 한 모임에서 이란은 미국으로 부터 위협을 느끼고 있다며 이같이 말했습니다.
자살공격 전술에 대해 논의한 이 모임에는 최소한 1백명이 참석했으며 회의 관계자들은 팔레스타인 자살공격 요원들의 모습을 담은 비디오를 상영했습니다. 이 단체 대변인은 약 1천명의 자살공격 요원들이 등록했다고 밝혔습니다.
앞서 부쉬 대통령은 미국은 이란의 핵 활동에 대처하기 위해 군사적 개입을 포함한 모든 가능한 선택을 고려하고 있다고 말했습니다.

A Iranian Islamic group that recruits suicide bombers says it is ready to retaliate in case Iran is attacked by the United States or its allies.
A spokesman for the group said at a meeting today (Saturday) in Tehran that Iran feels threatened by the U.S.
At least 100 people attended the meeting for a seminar on suicide-bombing tactics. Organizers showed video clips of Palestinian suicide attacks.
The group's spokesman said some one-thousand potential suicide bombers have registered with the organization.
President Bush has said he is open to all possible options for dealing with Iran's alleged nuclear weapons activities, including military intervention.
