아프간의 탈레반 정권이 지난 2001년 미군에 의해 전복된 후 탈레반을 비난하면서 아프간 군에 귀순한 사마드 카크사르씨는 14일 칸다하르에 있는 자택 부근에서 모터싸이클을 타고가던 두명의 괴한으로부터 총격을 받아 살해됐습니다.
칸다하르시 경찰 책임자는, 이 사건에 대한 조사가 아직도 계속되고있다고 말했습니다.

The Taleban has claimed responsibility for killing a former Taleban leader who renounced the hardline group that ruled Afghanistan until it was ousted by U.S.-led forces in 2001.
On Saturday, two gunmen on a motorcycle shot and killed former Taleban intelligence chief Mullah Abdul Samad Khaksar, who defected to the Afghan army after the Taleban was overthrown. The shooting happened near his home in Kandahar.
The city's police chief (Abdul Wahidi) says the case is still under investigation.
