금값이 며칠 째 22년래 최고치를 기록하고 있는 가운데12일, 뉴욕상품거래소에서 금값이 1온스 당 541달러로 또 다시 최고치를 나타냈습니다.
상품거래소 전문가들은 투자자들이 미국 연방정부 채권과 주식 및 현금 대신 금 등 고가 금속을 사들이기 때문에 금값이 계속 오름세에 있다고 분석했습니다.
금값이 500달러를 돌파한 것은1987년 이래 처음이며 12일의 금값은 22년 만에 최고치이며 입니다.

Gold prices have been hovering near their highest level in more than two decades for the past several days.
On Monday, gold prices went as high as 541 dollars an ounce in New York trading.
Analysts say investors are buying gold and other precious metals as an alternative to U.S. stocks, bonds and currency.
The Bloomberg financial news service reports that gold has risen 22 percent this year, outperforming the Standard and Poor's 500 index and 10-year Treasury notes.
