Officials in Afghanistan say a suicide bomber blew himself up near a convoy of U.S.-led troops in the southern city of Kandahar, wounding at least three people.
Authorities say the attacker detonated explosives strapped to his body early today (Sunday) as the convoy passed near the governor's house in the center of Kandahar city. Officials say there were no casualties among the troops.
The attack was the latest against U.S.-led coalition troops and Afghan forces in volatile southern Afghanistan.
