Former U.S. President Bill Clinton says the attention of the international community will stay on the plight of the tsunami victims in Indonesia's Aceh province until the work of rebuilding their future is finished.
Mr. Clinton arrived in Aceh today (Wednesday) to inspect reconstruction efforts. As the United Nations special envoy for tsunami recovery, he is on a whirlwind trip through the region to ensure that aid is being distributed fairly and efficiently, and to try to keep the world's focus on the recovery work.
He visited tsunami victims in Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
The December 26th tsunami killed more than 160-thousand people in Aceh.
