중국의 후진타오 국가주석이 다음달 노무현 대통령과의 정상회담과 아시아 태평양 경제 협력체, 에이펙 정상회의 참석차 한국을 방문할 예정입니다.
노무현 대통령실은 25일, 후 주석의 한국 방문 소식을 발표했습니다. 후 주석의 한국 방문은 중국 국가 주석의 방한으로는 10년 만에 이루어지는 것입니다.
한국 관리들은 양국 정상들이 광범위한 현안들에 관해서 대화할 것이라고 말했습니다. 후 주석은 에이펙 정상회의가 열리는 부산으로 향하기에 앞서 16일, 노 대통령과 정상회담을 하기 위해서 서울을 방문할 계획입니다.

China's president will travel to South Korea next month for talks with President Roh Moo-hyun and a summit of Asia-Pacific leaders.
President Roh's office announced the visit today (Tuesday). It will be the first trip to Korea by a Chinese president in 10 years. Korean officials say the two leaders will discuss a wide range of issues.
President Hu will be in Seoul on November 16 for the bilateral talks before traveling to the South Korean port city of Busan to attend this year's summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.
