한국인들의 3분의2는 한국이 핵 무장을 해야 한다고 믿고 있는 것으로 한 여론조사 결과 나타났습니다.
서울에서 발행되는 중앙일보가 15일 발표한 여론조사 결과에 따르면 조사 응답자 1천여명 가운데 약 67%가 한국의 핵 무장을 지지했습니다.
이같은 결과는 핵무장을 원하는 한국인들이 51% 였던 지난해 여론조사 때와는 크게 달라진 것입니다. 이번 조사는 다음달 초 베이징에서 열릴 예정인 북한 핵 문제 논의를 위한 6자회담을 앞두고 나온 것입니다.

A new survey from Seoul shows that two-thirds of South Koreans believe their country should be armed with nuclear weapons.
A public opinion poll released today (Saturday) by a local newspaper (the JoongAng Ilbo) indicates nearly 67 percent of more than one-thousand respondents said they want a nuclear-armed South Korea.
The survey shows support for the development of nuclear weapons has risen significantly, up from 51 percent last year. The poll comes ahead of the fifth round of six-nation talks scheduled for early next month in Beijing.
