아시아 개발 은행은 세계 시장에 상장된 아시아의 재화와 용역의 주식 가운데 환경에 도움이 되는 것으로 간주되는 주식의 양이 2010년 말에는 2배로 늘 것으로 보인다고 밝혔습니다.

The Asian Development Bank says Asia's share of the global market for goods and services seen as helping the environment is likely to double by the end of the decade.
A new ADB report says the global market for environmental goods and services was about 542 billion dollars in 2000, and predicted growth to more than 700 billion (dollars) by the end of the decade (2010).
The report said the Asia-Pacific market accounted for only about 23 percent (24 billion dollars) of the total expenditure in 2000 -- but it expects the Asia-Pacific market's growth rate to be the fastest in the world.
The bank said the key to success in putting the region's development pattern onto an environmentally sustainable path is more direct interaction between governments and the business community.
