Indonesian police say they have questioned some 39 people in connection with Saturday night's Bali suicide bombings that killed 22 people.
But despite a massive manhunt and the widely publicized photos of the three suspected bombers' faces, officials reported no breakthroughs.
Security officials say they suspect the regional militant Islamist group Jemaah Islamiyah was behind the bombings. Police are searching for two of the group's fugitive leaders (Malaysians Azahari bin Husin and Noordin M. Top) who are suspected in the 2002 attacks in Bali and other bombings.
The group's alleged spiritual leader Abu Bakar Bashir today (Tuesday) released a statement from his prison cell condemning the recent attacks.
Meanwhile, Australia has warned of more bombings on Bali -- specifically in an tourist entertainment district (Seminyak) north of one of Saturday's bomb sites.
