스웨덴의 노벨 재단이 3일 노르웨이 오슬로에서 연례 노벨상 수상자 발표를 시작합니다. 오는 9일 영예로운 노벨 평화상 발표에 앞서서 의학과 물리, 회학, 문학상 수상자가 발표될 예정입니다.
별도의 노벨 경제학상은 10일에 발표됩니다. 노벨상은 지난 1968년 노벨상 창시자인 스웨덴인 박애주의자 알프레드 노벨을 기리기 위해서 스웨덴 은행이 제도화했습니다.
수상자는 1896년 타계한 노벨의 기일에 맞춰 열리는 12월 10일의 시상식에서 상패와 함께130만 달러의 상금을 받게 됩니다.

Sweden's Nobel Foundation begins announcing winners of the annual Nobel Prize awards on Monday in Oslo, Norway.
Prizes for medicine, physics, chemistry and literature will be announced before the prestigious Peace Prize is revealed Friday.
A separate prize for economics will be announced October 10th. It was instituted in 1968 by the Bank of Sweden in memory of the founder of the Nobel Prize, Swedish philanthropist Alfred Nobel.
Winners receive their awards -- including a check worth one-point-three million dollars -- at a banquet on December 10th. That is the anniversary of Mr. Nobel's death in 1896.
